Renovating Homes, LLC is a residential general contracting firm in home improvement, renovation, historical preservation, home remodeling, new construction, home builders, design-build, and construction management.

We’re a small construction company that allows us to give our clients that individual and personal touch throughout the construction process. We are always there to answer questions and advice. We truly care for our clients.

In addition, we provide design-to-finish services for all residential remodeling projects, specializing in whole-home remodeling and reconstruction. Our projects range from small to large, with budgets from tight to extravagant.

Renovating Homes, LLC's owner, Ted Miroe, is a "boots on the ground" type of boss. He has an honest and caring approach to his clients. Ted started in residential construction by cleaning up job sites at the age of 11. He went on to work as a carpenter and joined the union while living in California. He later graduated from UCLA and took graduate courses in construction management. His heroes are the legendary Canadian singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot and Norm Abrams, a master carpenter from the PBS series, This Old House. Norm's credo was measured twice and cut once, along with many other famous craftsmen who impacted home renovations. Their credos are ingrained into the hearts and minds of each employee and the vetted subcontractors who work with us.

I have known Ted Miroe , for over two decades.I met him back in 2007 as the senior project manager on a $30 million townhouse gut renovation in NYC. The crew was large with many subcontractors on the site every day.Ted was very conscientious and was always available in discussing each step of work which needed to be completed.We worked on several other projects over the years and Ted was always there for me and be came a good friends.Ted was always respectful and dedicated to his clients,who at times,were overwhelmed with the build.I can’t overly express how good Ted is a boss, general contractor and client-oriented person.
